Back at the beginning of the new year I made note of a church marquee sign that I passed on an outing that read, “Go to Church.” My immediate thought was that we need to take the church to the world. One can GO to church all one’s life and never BE the church. While I do believe in gathering with other Christ-followers on a regular basis, the gathering isn’t the sum total of one’s faith walk. When you become a Christ-follower you become an active part of the church. Don’t be someone who just “goes to church,” be someone who takes the church to the world.
